App usage

At MyLock we have been working trying to develop a tool with a very intuitive design to use our app without complications:

Once you have registered, to activate your account, it is first necessary to enter a valid payment method, which the system will remember for future payments.

You must also select which rate you want to use (this can be changed at any time).

To use the service, you must identify yourself: you will simply have to scan the QR code that you have on the home screen of the switchboard of any MyLock station.

A dynamic ticket will automatically be generated showing the usage time and the current amount of this repository.

To end the service, simply re-identify with the same QR and accept the ticket once it is displayed in the App.


Payments and rates

MyLock offers three different rates depending on the expected length of stay:

  • SHORT: For short stays. It costs € 1.80 / hour and there is no required minimum stay.

For example, in a 15 minute stay, the amount to pay would be: € 1.80 * 15 min / 60 min = € 0.45

  • MEDIUM: For medium stays: It has a cost of € 0.90 / hour and the required minimum stay is 2 hours. This means that, even if the service is used for less time, the minimum amount will be charged (€ 0.90 * 2 hours = € 1.80).

For example, in a 3 hour stay the amount to pay would be: € 0.90 * 3 hours / 1 hour = € 2.70

  • LARGE: For long stays: It has a cost of € 0.45 / hour and the required minimum stay is 5 hours. This means that, even if the service is used for less time, the minimum amount will be charged (€ 0.45 * 5 hours = € 2.25).

For example, in a 7 hour stay the amount to pay would be: € 0.45 * 7 hours / 1 hour = € 3.15

Continuing with the examples of the same stays, these would be the amounts depending on the rate chosen before using the service:

Discount 50%

Just for registering we offer you a 50% discount on the use of our lockers during the next 15 days of your registration. You will see that when you use the service during the next few days, the amount of your stay is reduced by half.
